STATE-BOUND
BASKETBALL GIRLS: come to the office between 1st and 2nd
hours today.
PEP BUS: Sign up in the office to ride the pep
bus to Hutchinson for State Basketball today.
School will be dismissed at 2:30 on today.
Pep bus leaves at 2:30. Game is
at 4:45. If we win today, school will be dismissed
at 12:45 on Friday (pep bus list in the office for Friday also.) Cost to ride the bus is $1.00.
PEP ASSEMBLY: Today at 12:45, in the Middle School gym. K-12 will be in attendance. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
All MHS students who have not talked
to Mrs. Janzen THIS WEEK about the schedule need to talk to her by Friday so we
can get a final schedule in place for 2010-2011. THANKS!
Contact Mr. Clark by Friday if you
are interested in trying out for "Singers" for the coming school
year. Auditions will be completed right after we get back from Spring Break.
FCCLA: FCCLA members the FCCLA t-shirts are in and you may
pick up your t-shirt when you pay for them in the FCS room. T-shirts are $10.75.
March 22nd Youth Court at 6 PM at the courthouse.
WARRIOR FANS: Be sure to wear your RED & BLUE to the
games in Hutch so we look like a sea of red and blue ! Good Luck !

the games will be $5.00 for students and $6.00 for adults.
NHS MEETING: during activity period today.
SENIORS: the following seniors have not ordered a cap and gown yet: Marshall Ragland and Mason Kukuk. The following have not paid for their cap & gown yet: Randy Carlson, Megan Carter, Alex Eurit, Nick D. Klenda, Mason Kukuk, Marshall Ragland, Lee Vogel, Cody Wildin and DillonWildin. Cost is $30.10, payable to Marion High School.
State
Basketball: KSHSAA
just sent out information regarding state basketball. No one other than players or cheerleaders in
uniform may be on the gym floor.
Students/fans may not form tunnels or do run throughs. In addition, fans may not have helium
balloons, confetti, laser lights, or noise makers. Rule 52 will be enforced, so keep it positive
and keep it fun! Go Lady Warriors!

Yates is planning a GREEN DAY on March 17th. If you can help please call

KEY CLUB meeting in March.
WSU
will have their open house and information session about the different careers
in nursing. The
date is Saturday, march 27th from 10:00 AM to Noon. Registration begins at 9:45. For a copy of the information, check with

Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship
– is a scholarship for any student who has participated in golf during high
school. There is a downloadable application form at www.kansasgolf.org

After
Prom Permission Slips and t-shirt orders are due in the office Friday, March 12th.
The
Census Bureau is hiring workers in this area. The work is
temporary, but pays well ($13/hr). The
hours are flexible and you will be paid for 4 days of training as well as
mileage. You must be 18. Please inquire at 1-866-861-2010 or call
Margie Bennett at 382-8480. Pick up flyers
in the office.
Seniors please bring 3 pictures to Lindsay Hett for the Senior Slide Show to
be shown at graduation. You will need a baby picture, your senior picture and a
causal picture. Group pictures are also an option. Pictures need to given to Lindsay by Friday,
March 26th.
SPRING PICTURES: March 23rd.
SENIORS: Please bring a
senior picture to the office to be used in the class composite that hangs in
the stairway.
March For The Troops: NHS is collecting supplies for the
troops. Lists are posted by the office,
library, and Mrs. Versch’s room. Each item is worth points. Bring them to 5th hour class and
whichever class has the most gets a reward.
Contest goes from March 1st to March 26th.
Registration Forms for Summer Rec Baseball/Softball
are in the office. Registration Deadline
is March 15th.
